Why you should Plan your Meals

Planning your meals can save you a lot of time and money, two things there never seems to be enough of. Here are for reason why meal planning is important.

  1. Nutrition. It is easier to eat healthy when you know ahead of time what you are going to be eating. Planning helps eliminate the temptation to go to McDonalds. This reason is important if you are trying to lose weight.
  2. Budget. Meal planning makes it easier to eat economically. You will be able to eat for less because you will be shopping from a list. You will not be buying ingredient you already have or buying on impulse.
  3. Satisfaction. You will have a happy family if you plan. You will not be duplicating meals and making things that will not be eaten because of dislike.
  4. Time. This is a big one. Having a plan always save time even when it comes to meal planning.

There you have it, several reasons why it is a good idea to do meal planning. If you spend 30 minutes a week planning meals, it will save you much more time than that later in the week.
