Me and the Medifast Weight Loss Diet Plan
Posted underI had gastric bypass surgery about 2 years ago, but now I have gained some of my weight back. I am not the typical patient. You hear a lot of horror stories about what you can and cannot eat after this surgery. I do have to admit the first 6 months was not easy, but now I can eat anything I want. I cannot eat large quantities, but sugar is not a problem for me. This is not typical of most people that have had this surgery.
Recently, I started using the Medifast weight loss diet plan and I have lost 7 pounds in the past 2 weeks. The biggest thing I have noticed is the lack of cravings and shakiness that I had from eating sugar and carbs. Don’t get me wrong, my adherence to this diet has not been perfect, but it has been a substantial improvement over the things I have been doing in the past year.
I attribute some of this to my willingness to make a change, but the other part of it is this simple to follow food plan. With Medifast everything is portable and easy. You follow their plan for 2 meals and have lean protein and vegetables for the other meal. The way I look at is I can spend the rest of my life doing what I am doing and probably gain more weight or I can spend the next 6 months on the Medifast weight loss diet plan and get to my goal weight. I am doing my best to achieve the latter.
