If you are trying to get a lot of weight off quickly, the Medifast Diet Plan is a good option for you. This plan is a low-carb, mostly liquid diet. You have two liquid meals and two snacks. For dinner you have what Medifast refers to as a lean and green meal. This consists of lean protein and a salad or green vegetables.

Conceptually, this is a very easy plan to follow. You know exactly what you are going to eat and when you are going to eat it. There is little or no prep time involved with your meals. The part that will be hardest to follow is the fact that you are eating only 800-1000 calories per day. I think the fact that it is so low calorie may make it hard to stick with, especially at first. If you can get through the first week, I think your chances of being able to stick with it are pretty good.

The Medifast Diet Plan sells for $275 a month, which sounds like a lot, but if you think about it, that is $10 per day. Most people easily spend more than that on food now, especially if you dine out. Right now, with the purchase of a months worth of food you get a free weeks worth of food.

The thing I like about the Medifast Diet plan is it does not take much thought and planning. You buy your food for the month and you are pretty much done. Having to plan what to eat was part of what always tripped me up when it came to eating healthy. If the food wasn’t in my home it was easier to go to McDonald’s than go through the hassle of going to the grocery store.

If you are looking to try a diet plan that is different, you might want to
