The past 2 days I have come about as close to abstinence as I have ever been recently. It was not too hard over the weekend. Today however, I am back at work (the land of candy and excess food). The other day they bought about 10 bags of candy and it is impossible for them to hold a meeting here without food. So, I am prepared for a challenge. I have not had to much luck with being able to avoid their food and candy in the past. I am hoping that today I will find the strength to change that .

I am also trying to lose weight, luckly I don’t work, well that might be unluckly as it would help me move more, but anyway. I do know what it’s like to have to stay away from junk, but trust me, you can do it! it takes 30 days to change a behavior, so strive for that 30 days, just remember you can have a little, if you can stop.

Good luck with the temptations. I have a very hard time with it as well. And I really have to watch everything because of diabetes. It still stinks though.

Thanks for the advice. I just have to take things one day at a time and hope that I find the strength to make wise decisions.
