So far I have not done too well with giving up sugar, but tomorrow is a new day. I have to get this under control and I just don’t know how. I guess that is where the surrender comes in. Tomorrow seems like it will be a busy day. It is that time of year where a lot goes on. I need a good day and I also have to get some exercise in. I am very sore from my workout, but tomorrow I am going to have to exercise anyway. I also think I need to plan my eating better. I think I will make a weeks worth of breakfasts this weekend and see home that works for me next today.

Managing money these days is not easy. That is evident by the number of mortgages that have gone into default in recent months. Loans are pretty much part of life, but if you don’t manage them carefully, you will find yourself in trouble.

Credit cards can especially be a problem if you are not careful. You can end up paying a lot of money interest over time if you choose to carry a balance. Insurance and loans are part of life, they are almost necessary to get through life. Be smart when it comes to money and debt. Have a plan for managing your money and living debt free.

You can’t build a reputation
on what you are going to do.

Henry Ford

How many times have we told ourselves we’re going to do something–exercise, write a letter, paint the house, quit drinking–but never got around to it? Those around us may have been very impressed with our good intentions, happy we had made a decision to do something. But as time went by and we didn’t do anything, they were less anad less impressed. Finally our most sincere promises fell on deaf ears. People no longer believed us. And no wonder. Perhaps we, too, stopped believing in our good intentions. Some of us may have wondered if we’d ever follow through.

But there is good news. Today, we’re not telling ourselves that one of these days we’ll do something about our drinking or using or eating. We’re in recovery. And we’re seeing real progress, real growth in our lives. We’re regaining what we thought was lost forever. We’ve taken the first step toward real, lasting change. In time we’ll find we can make good on our good intentions, and rebuild our trust in ourselves.

Today let me feel grateful for the program. Let me see how it has already helped me change.

Do you have your important computer files backed up? I do not have everything backed up, but I do have extra copies of files that can make or break me.

Now, ibackup.com makes it easy for you to keep copies of your files. This online storage offers several easy-to-use features. I especially like the ability to map your online storage account as a local drive on your computer and drag-n-drop, open, edit and save files directly from office applications.

You also have the ability to create sub-accounts within your account to keep your information organized. Ibackup also allows for both browser based and desktop based easy access to web folders. Most people do not realize the importance of backing up their files until they are gone. Let ibackup.com help you avoid the consequences of not backing up your files.

I have gotten past the anger I felt earlier today. I am not happy in my job. I am the kind of person that has changed jobs regularly, mostly because the companies that I worked for moved. Now, I have been with the same company for 4 years. This is my second position and it seems like after about 2 years I have become so efficient at doing my job that I become bored. It is not a challenge anymore and that is where I am now.

Yesterday, I met with my personal trainer. I am doing pretty well. My abs are my weakest. She actually worked me pretty hard and I am sore, but it actually feels pretty good. I supposed to be abstaining from sugar, but I did cheat a bit. I am trying to find breakfast foods that will keep me satisfied, but are not loaded with calories. Protein powder is not getting it. Between the protein powder and the boredom, I have a hard time avoiding the foods that are a problem. Overall, I feel like I am making progress.

For some unknown reason, I am really angry today. Or maybe irritated is a better word. things have been getting on my nerves since this morning. And I hate when I am in this state, because I feel anger expends a lot of energy with nothing in return. In the grand scheme of things I will gain nothing by being angry and It will more than likely cost me something in the long run.

I wish I had the inside track on getting past times like this, because I feel it would keep me from eating things that I shouldn’t. I think I am better at dealing with these situations, but this morning nothing seemed to work. The bad thing is when I am like that I just want to be left alone and when you are at work you don’t always have that option.

I have no motivation today. Work was very overwhelming. We have a lot of people in from out of town for meetings. Since I sit within close proximity to the meeting rooms, I am distracted by their cell phones, extra traffic and worst of all–the food. I think today was the last day and tomorrow, hopefully, things will return to normal. Whatever that is. It seems like this the norm anymore. I wish I could work from home. I have the capability and the majority of the people I work for are actually in other states. I am beginning to like less what I do and it is because it is no longer a challenge. I can pretty much do it in my sleep.
