Do you Exercise at Home?

Posted under by admin

Do you like to exercise at home or are you a person that does better at a gym? I like both. I have a membership at a very nice health club. It is comfortable and well kept. It is less than 5 years old so it has a light and airy feel. I is conducive to exercise. But I also like the idea of having a program that I can use at home. I enjoy using resistance bands and the exercise ball. This is a combination that works well and is easy to use at home. According to my personal trainer, you will get just as good a workout with the ball and the bands as you will with free weights or exercise equipment. These items are very reasonable priced and can be picked up in department stores. So, you are quickly running out of excuses for not being able to exercise.

  1. Mike Said,

I think working out at home has a lot of advantages - but also some drawbacks. I used to work out at home a few years ago with a friend. We had equipment like dumb- and barbells as well as weights, bench… My sister also accumulated cardio equipment over the years ;-) . We had lot of fun but after some time we just felt like…we needed something more. We started going to the gym, where access to further equipment was possible.
However, music provided in the gym sucks which is - in my opinion - one of the most important things for workouts. Of course ipod does the trick, but working out with speakers at full volume at home…you know ;-)
