Look what Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are up To
Posted under by adminJohnny Depp and Tim Burton are at it again. They really have a flair for the dramatic. The come up with some of this most unique and bazaar pieces of film when they work together.
I think one of my favorite is “Once Upon a Time in Mexico.” I like the scenery as much as I enjoyed the action. This is another movie where Johnny Depp plays his role the fullest.
If the truth be told, I think I liked Johnny Depp when he was in the TV show, 21 Jump Street, way back in 1987.
“Sweeney Todd” is Tim Burton�s and Johnny Depp’s latest collaboration. This is just the time of role that Depp plays so well. Johnny Depp has the leading role where he plays a man that was unjustly sent to prison.
Not only is Depp looking for revenge for his prison sentence, but also for what happened to his wife and daughter. He returns to his barber shop. Can imagine an angry person with a straight razor? Well needless to say not all of his customers are repeat customers.
Sweeney Todd will be in theaters around Christmas. When you are out with family and friends during the holiday, be sure and catch this revenge movie. That’s a great review. My daughter loves Johnny Depp so I guess we’ll be watching it in the near future.
I saw Sweeney Todd on Broadway…it was a good play. I agree that Johnny Depp would play a good Todd.
However, I have one gripe. Tim Burton is so talented and lately, all he does are remakes of old plays, books, movies! I wish he would go back to creating unique and wonderfully original films like “Edward Scissorhands” or “Nightmare Before Christmas”.
I will see the movie soon!
